Abstract

Eupholidoptera forcipata Willemse & Kruseman, 1976 (Figures 36, 81, 127, 173, 214, 230, 234, 236, 239, Appendix) Eupholidoptera forcipata Willemse & Kruseman, 1976: 131–134. Type information: Holotype M, GREECE: Crete, Idi Oros, Kolita–Psiloritis, 1700–2100 m, 28– 29.7.1973 (F. Willemse c.s.); paratypes 45M, 60F, same data as holotype (1M and 1F in NHM, others in CW). Material examined: GREECE: Crete: types; 2M, 1 F, Mt. Ida (Psiloritis) above Kamares, camp site (35°11'40''N, 24°47'25''E), 1850 m, 29 vii 2007, (M. & K.-G. Heller)(CH) (sound record); 3M, 1 F, Mt. Ida, spring of Skaronero, above Kamares (35°10'50''N, 24°48'50''E), 1800 m, 28 vii 2007 (M. & K.-G. Heller) (CH) (sound record). Distribution: This species is endemic to central Crete.
