Abstract

Hydropsyche ianiel nov.sp. Gelbbraun, Vorderflügel fein hell gesprenkelt. VFL 9 mm. KA (Tafel 4): Eine Art der hamifera -Gruppe (MEY 1998), die mit über 50 Arten über die vielen Inseln der Philippinen und Molukken sowie auf Papua, Borneo und Sulawesi verbreitet ist. Kaudalrand des 9. Segments mit einem grossen kaudalen Lappen in der Mitte des Kaudalrandes und einem Paar langer distaler Finger am 10. Segment, und einem Paar dorsaler Warzen vor deren Basis. 2. Glied der UA sehr kurz, gedrungen und spitz. Phallus von der in der Gruppe charakteristischen Form, die drei distalen Fortsätze gleich lang und in LA in gleicher Weise leicht nach oben gebogen, die lateralen abgerundet, der mittlere spitz; in VA haben die beiden äusseren eine nach aussen gerichtete Spitze. An der Basis dieser Fortsätze entspringt ein Paar häutiger, faltiger Schläuche, die in je zwei kurzen, breiten Spitzen enden. Aus ihrer Basis entspringt dorsal ein weiterer kürzerer häutiger Finger. – Von den vielen ähnlichen Arten unterscheidet sich diese durch die beiden kurzen breiten Spitzen. H. askanios MALICKY & CHANTARAMONGKOL 2000 von Brunei und H. talaudensis MEY 2000 von Talaud haben auch solche, aber an den beiden Fortsätzen des Phallus gibt es keine nach aussen weisende Spitzen. Bei H. jobab MALICKY & O’CONNOR & DOWLING 2011 von Sulawesi sind hingegen die zwei Spitzen viel zarter.
