L. (E.) villosulum (KIRBY 1802) 1802 Melitta villosula KIRBY, Monogr. apum Angl. 2: 62-63,. Loc. typ.: nicht genannt (England). Lectotypus: London, festgelegt durch EBMER 1988. Synonymie EBMER 1988b: 649. Zypern: M1: Limassol, Oktober. M5: Yermasoyia Fluss, Februar. NF: Mt. Olympos, Sun Valley, 1850m, 10.7.198 7, 1, Ebmer. Famagusta, 18.8.199 7, 1, Boness. - Im Vergleich zum häufigen Vorkommen am Kontinent in Zypern auffällig selten. Kreta NF: Sehr häufig in den unteren Lagen, bis zur trockenen Ostküste, Bucht von Karoumbes, Strand, 16.4.200 5, 1; höchster Fund im Ida Gebirge, Skinakas, 1400m, Acer semperivens-Astragalus - Zone, 12.6.200 2, 1, Ebmer. Pollen vorzugsweise bis ausschliesslich an gelben Asteraceae. RV: Karpathos. Rhodos. Samos. Chios. Lesbos. Limnos. Samothrake. - Paros. Naxos. GV: Transpaläarktisch, die westpaläarktische Stammform von den Kanaren bis in die Mongolei und Nepal, nördlich in Finnland bis N64q, eingeschleppt auf den Azoren (Inseln São Miguel, Horta, Santa Maria, Faial, Pico).
