Abstract

Breinlia (Breinlia) sp. Three single females have been encountered during this study and cannot be determined to species but are here noted to alert future workers. N507, unfertilised, from peritoneal cavity Dendrolagus lumholtzi Herberton, QLD. N4278, fertilised, from peritoneal cavity Isoodon obesulus (Shaw), Bakers Junction, Albany WA. N5483, fertilised, from subcutaneous connective tissue of knee region Macropus rufus co-parasitic with Pelecitus ? roemeri, 21 km N Roebourne, WA. These are in addition to B. (B.) sp. nov. 1 from Potorous tridactylus and B. (B.) sp. nov. 3 from Macropus rufogriseus banksianus noted by Spratt and Varughese (1975).
