This subspecies is different from the nominate subspecies in that: both forks of the male uncus bend outwards; the valva is shorter and not reaching the apex of the uncus as in T. fulvata fulvata; the eighth sternite is not deeply concave as in T. fulvata fulvata; in the female genitalia, the dorsal lobe of the ostial segment is broader than that of T. fulvata fulvata.
