Abstract

Tridrepana fulvata brevis Watson, 1957 Figs 1–4, 59, 83, 106–107, 130 Tridrepana fulvata brevis Watson, 1957, Bull. Br. Mus. nat. Hist. (Ent.), 4, 423, figs 4–6, 9. Holotype ♂, India: Assam: Khasis. (BMNH) Tridrepana emina Chu & Wang, 1988, Acta Entom. Sinica, 31 (2), 205. (part) Diagnosis. This subspecies is different from the nominate subspecies in that: both forks of the male uncus bend outwards; the valva is shorter and not reaching the apex of the uncus as in T. fulvata fulvata; the eighth sternite is not deeply concave as in T. fulvata fulvata; in the female genitalia, the dorsal lobe of the ostial segment is broader than that of T. fulvata fulvata.
