Dieser Erstnachweis für Tirol kam nicht unerwartet, nachdem die aus Nordamerika stammende Art nun bereits in den Bundesländern Kärnten (MELZER 2003), Oberösterreich (HOHLA et al. 2005b), Salzburg (SCHRÖCK et al. 2004) und Wien (FISCHER et al. 2008) nachgewiesen wurde.
