Proyecto Amauta: La Percepción del Docente en Torno a su Eficacia

Abstract

En este artículo se presentan los resultados más relevantes de una investigación centrada en el análisis de la formación en coaching educativo, neuropedagogía y gestión del talento desarrollada como parte del Proyecto Amauta, con docentes de los 24 departamentos del Perú. Entre los objetivos se pretende conocer la percepción del docente con relación a la eficacia de la formación recibida, para potenciar el aprendizaje y desarrollo de sus alumnos, así como la opinión del profesorado sobre la metodología empleada en la formación y el cumplimiento de los objetivos del programa. Para llevar a cabo la investigación se ha considerado conveniente adoptar un enfoque metodológico de carácter cuantitativo, desarrollado mediante un procedimiento de encuesta online dirigido a todo el profesorado. A nivel general, los resultados vienen a confirmar la importancia de una formación en coaching educativo para potenciar el desempeño docente. Tras haber completado la formación, el 100% de maestros indican que lo aprendido es de “valor” y contribuirá a potenciar su rol como docente. Y alrededor del 90%, indica que esa contribución servirá “mucho”. En el presente artículo analizaremos a profundidad el resultado, segmentándolo por las dimensiones claves del aprendizaje, con el fin de determinar la utilidad percibida por los maestros para el desarrollo de cada una de ellas. No obstante, como reflexión final y prospectiva del estudio, nos inclinamos a pensar que la eficacia de la formación impartida por el Proyecto Amauta, también podría ser medida por estudios que analicen el impacto concreto en el aprendizaje del alumno, autopercepción, autovaloración y continuidad universitaria. De esta manera se abren nuevos campos de estudio que complementen, amplíen y enriquezcan este trabajo
