Plan de divulgación en nanotecnología en Venezuela

Abstract

Implementar la divulgación, promoción, información y formación en nanotecnología en Venezuela, son los objetivos de este Plan Nacional de Divulgación en Nanotecnología, partiendo del uso de las redes sociales para agrupar estudiantes universitarios y población educativa, con la creación de la Red de Divulgación RedVnano.EstULA en nanociencias y nanotecnología a través de Facebook,Zoom, Instangran, Telegram, Whassap, MySpaceTwitter, Google Plus, Blogger. Los resultados de 2 años de trabajo fueron: 1.Creación de RedVnano.EstULA asociada a Facebook (846 miembros), MySpace y Twitter (590 miembros), un Blogger redvnanoestula.blogspot.com (950 visitas) y la diseño de una web, Programas de radios, software - juegos y videos conferencias. 2. Creación de una Cátedra Itinerante ¿Qué es la nanotecnología?, se realizaron 15 conversatorios sobre nanotecnología y sus aplicaciones con la participación de 4 invitados internacionales, 3 videos conferencias y 8 invitados nacionales, con una asistencia de 603 estudiantes, 3. Creación de un Taller sobre Nanotecnología para estudiantes de nuevo ingreso Universitario (asistencia 210 estudiantes), 4. Participación en 8 Congresos Nacionales, 3 Internacionales, 5. Creación de un Talleres sobre ¿Que es el Nanomundo? para los Liceos del Estado Mérida, se han dictado 13 talleres a 256 estudiantes. Este proyecto y experiencia demuestra que articulando el uso de las redes sociales, conversatorios presenciales y por video conferencias, creación de talleres básicos de nanotecnología con grupos de trabajos de estudiantes universitarios se puede lograr que más personas se apropien de los conceptos científicos y tecnológicos del siglo XXI y conozcan los paradigmas de la nanociencias y nanotecnología.
