Abstract

Ammalo pachycera (Seitz, 1922) n. comb. Elysius pachycera Seitz, 1922: 386. SPÉCIMENS SÉQUENCÉS. — Ammalo pachycera n. comb.: ARCTC921-11, ARCTC922-11, ARCTC923-11. ARGUMENTAIRE TAXONOMIQUE Elysius pachycera Seitz, 1922 est décrit du Rio Songo, département de la Paz, en Bolivie. Il s’agit d’une espèce brune peu commune que l’on capture occasionnellement dans la zone des Guyanes et du bassin amazonien. Par contre, cette espèce est nettement plus grande et paraît mal placée parmi les espèces brunes du genre Elysius Walker, 1855. Nous avons pu séquencer deux spécimens de Bolivie (Nord Yungas) et un spécimen de Guyane française. Les trois séquences s’alignent parfaitement avec celles des espèces du genre Ammalo Walker, 1855. Elysius pachycera possède effectivement l’habitus bien caractéristique de ce genre avec des ailes massives et des antennes fortement bipectinées.Nous proposons donc cette recombinaison.
