Remarks: In the scenario discussed under A. inflatipalpis (see there), A. valencianus is a little documented Western Mediterranean species, in Italy restricted to Sardinia. Habitat: Rhithrobiont. Medium order streams, 20-1400 m. Distribution: Iberian Peninsula, Corsica, Sardinia.
