Previously published records from Italy: Sardegna (Gerecke 2014b); Sicilia (Gerecke 2003). Habitat: Rhithrobiont. Medium order streams, preferably at low altitude, 60-810 m. Distribution. Central and Southern Europe. So far, no records from southern continental Italy.
