Abstract

Niphadomimus niger Zherikhin, 1987 niger Zherikhin, 1987 (Niphadomimus) Zherikhin, 1987: 18 (description) Type locality. Nepal, Ramechap [sic] Dist., between Jiri and Shivalaya, 2500– 1800 m. Type specimens. Holotype (not studied) originally cited as male and not dissected (SMNS). Described from the holotype. Material examined. None. Diagnostic description. As noted in the original description, this species is black in colour, subglobular in shape, and has non-tuberculate elytra, which are not markedly narrowed in their lateral outline before apices. Distribution. Ramechhap District in Eastern Nepal. Elevation: 1800–2500 m.
