Abstract

El proceso de decisión sobre as características a incorporar en el Desarrollo de Nuevos Productos (DNP) ha sido abordado en la literatura sobre Contabilidad Directiva desde diferentes perspectivas entre las que destaca el Despliegue de la Función de Calidad (DFC). Sin embargo, debido a la utilización de símbolos visuales para realizar el análisis, este método no resulta de aplicación en circunstancias en las que el número de requerimientos de los clientes o de posibles características a desarrollar en el nuevo producto sea muy elevado. En este trabajo se propugna una propuesta original del modelo de DFC. analizando las variables que resultan relevantes en esta decisión, desarrollándose un modelo matemático que permite comparar diferentes opciones Adicionalmente, y con la finalidad de mejorar su operatividad, tras analizar la utilidad de las heurísticas bio-inspiradas como mecanismos de búsqueda y optimización resolutivos en problemas complejos, se desarrolla un Algoritmo Genético (AG) como motor de procesamiento de la información en el proceso de toma de decisiones sobre nuevos productos. De acuerdo con lo anterior en el trabajo se detalla la implementación de un AG para el modelo matemático desarrollado, lo que permite constatar que el modelo construido facilita procesar gran cantidad de información y proporciona una solución factible a problema que, si bien no garantiza que sea la óptima, si puede afirmase que se aproxima a ella. Asimismo, a efectos de su comprensión y valuación se incorpora un ejemplo de aplicación ilustrativa.
