Pollex (Bilobiana) bulli Fibiger, new species (Plate 8, figure 5; male genit. plate 18, figure 3) Material examined. Holotype: male, Philippines, Palawan, Bookes Point, Uring Uring, 17.xii.1961, genit. prep. 3531 M. Fibiger. Coll. ZMUC. Diagnosis. Wingspan: 9 mm. Forewing: narrow, light brown, except subterminal area which is dark brown. Transverse lines: brown; terminal line marked by black dots between veins. Reniform: distinct, whitish grey, outlined by black. Fringes: coloured like subterminal area. Hindwing: unicolorous dark brown with an indistinct black discal spot. Underside: unicolorous dark brown. Male genitalia. Tegumen: narrow. Vinculum: short, stout. Saccus: U-shaped, short. Fultura superior: T-shaped with long narrow arms, fused with upper middle part of tegumen and ventrally broadly with juxta-anellus; each arm with a prominent, long, subapically bent, laterally directed process. Valve: shorter than wide. Ampulla: almost symmetrical, relatively long, almost equally broad; densely setose with long, hair-like, inwardly bent setae. Pollex: almost symmetrical, prominent, almost as long as ampulla, slightly upturned, subapically broadest; subapically densely setose with long, hair-like, inwardly bent setae. Digitus: almost symmetrical, long, tapered, curved, directed slightly ventrally, pointed apically; right digitus slightly longer than left one. Juxta-anellus plate: large, higher than wide, hole for phallus positioned ventrally in plate. Phallus: long, deeply curved, slightly tapered towards apex; broadest by ductus ejaculatorius; coecum short and narrow. Vesica: unarmed. Differential diagnosis. P. bulli differs from other species by the almost symmetrical digitus, ampulla, and pollex, the long, subapically bent processes from the fultura superior, and the unarmed phallus, broadest by ductus ejaculatorius.
