Abstract

RESUMEN Objetivo: elaborar un prototipo de etiquetado nutrimental electrónico de fácil compresión para los consumidores de México y América Latina. Método: realizando un análisis de los etiquetados y recomendaciones de instituciones nacionales e internacionales como son: el Instituto Nacional de Salud Pública (INSP), la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) y la Organización Panamericana de la Salud (OPS), así como el estudio de los etiquetados frontales de México, Chile, Ecuador, Reino Unido y Francia. Por último, se consideró un estudio de calorías-ejercicio elaborado por la Universidad de Harvard. Resultados: se elaboró el modelo de NutriCarrito, un modelo visual de fácil compresión del etiquetado nutrimental. ABSTRACT Objective: to develop an easily understood electronic nutritional labeling prototype for consumers in Mexico and Latin America. Method: carrying out an analysis of the labels and recommendations of national and international institutions such as: the National Institute of Public Health (INSP), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), as well as the study of the front labels of Mexico, Chile, Ecuador, the United Kingdom and France. Finally, a Harvard University calorie-exercise study was considered. Results: The NutriCarrito model was developed, a visual model of easy compression of the nutritional labeling.
