Type locality note: Based on a small series of specimens at KUNHM, collected by Professor Snow and associates with same lectotype label data, this taxon type locality (Fig. 44, 50) is herein fixed at a Cimarron River site east of Englewood, Clark County, Kansas, with these GPS coordinates: 37.0370, −99.7784, 565m. This site adjoins an Oklahoma state boundary shown as a blue line running diagonally near left side of Fig. 44. Habitat: Salt encrusted soils of marshy riverine margins. Cicindela togata globicollis Casey, 1913: [(Bousquet and Larochelle 1993: 66) assigned as distinct subspecies of C. togata LaFerté-Sénectère, 1841].
