Abstract

Frente a la emergencia sanitaria a causa del COVID-19, el personal de salud presenta mayor afección psicológica, reportando síntomas de ansiedad, depresión, estrés postraumático, miedo a contagiarse, frustración, desesperanza y preocupación, a causa de las largas jornadas de trabajo, horarios irregulares, escases de prendas de protección, el colapso de los hospitales, todo esto repercutiendo en su calidad de vida, desempeño laboral y en su capacidad de captación, dificultando la lucha contra este virus; para poder sobrellevar estos acontecimientos, es importante la influencia del nivel de resiliencia y las estrategias de afrontamiento que ponga en marcha cada individuo. El objetivo de la presente investigación es determinar el impacto psicológico, resiliencia y afrontamiento de los profesionales de salud del Hospital Santa Inés durante la pandemia por COVID-19. El estudio toma un enfoque de tipo descriptivo-correlacional de corte transversal prospectivo con enfoque cuantitativo, con una muestra de 90 trabajadores de la salud del Hospital Santa Inés, la información se presentará en tablas de frecuencia y porcentaje con los respectivos análisis descriptivos. Los resultados obtenidos de la investigación demostraron que alrededor de 1/3 del personal presenta algún tipo de malestar psicológico, al mismo tiempo utilizan estrategias de afrontamiento para continuar con su ardua labor.
