Establishing common team resources and a schedule for digital object management during the project will ease the burden of documentation and preservation – streamlining your publications. This checklist helps you to build your own project team tool to communication decisions made on team resources for digital object management and a schedule to when data and digital object management needs to happen. Using this in conjunction with the Belmont Forum Data and Digital Output Management Plan and Workbook developed by the PARSEC team is very helpful. This work is part of the Building New Tools for Data Sharing and Re-use through a Transnational Investigation of the Socioeconomic Impacts of Protected Areas (PARSEC) project with funding provided by the Belmont Forum through the National Science Foundation, Grant 1929464 as well as the Accelerating Open and FAIR Data Practices Across the Earth, Space, and Environmental Sciences: A Pilot with the NSF to Support Public Access to Research Data project funded by the National Science Foundation, Grant 2025364.
