Análisis de programas de educación sexual para secundaria

Abstract

Resumen: Introducción. En la actualidad, la presencia en los centros educativos y/o en ámbitos no formales de la educación sexual es constatable. Este tipo de formación, ha evolucionado en las últimas décadas, tanto en su enfoque, como en su metodología; conviviendo distintos modelos sobre la misma (López, 2005). Objetivo. Revisar y analizar distintos programas de educación sexual para adolescentes, tanto en el contexto nacional como internacional. Análisis. Revisión sistemática de programas mediante el modelo de Barbosa et al. (2013), en la que se analizan 16 programas (4 Internacionales, y 12 nacionales) desarrollados en el periodo comprendido entre 1992 y 2016. La búsqueda bibliográfica se ha realizado tanto en bases de datos científicas como en páginas Web de Organismos Oficiales, Comunidades Autónomas, entidades y grupos de trabajo de referencia. Resultados. Entre los principales hallazgos destacan la coexistencia de diversos enfoques de educación sexual como el modelo biográfico-profesional, el modelo de riesgos, el modelo para la abstinencia o el Comprehensive Sex Education, siendo mayor la eficacia de aquellos programas que abordan la sexualidad desde una perspectiva holística. Conclusiones. La educación sexual debe integrarse en el currículo, ofreciendo una visión integral de la sexualidad que incluya los aspectos psicosociales, la diversidad sexual y la igualdad de género.
