The uploaded file contains experimental and benchmark data collected during the evaluation process of an MSc thesis with title "Efficient State Machine Replication With RDMA RPCs in Java". The file also includes Python scripts used to process evaluation data and create plots. The thesis explored how to use RDMA efficiently to build RPCs for State Machine Replication (SMR) systems written in Java. This research used Hazelcast IMDG, an open source Java project that contains a production-ready Raft protocol implementation for SMR. Hazelcast IMDG's Raft RPCs were changed to use RDMA networking (see link), instead of the original TCP networking. Moreover, the open source Java library jRCM was created to minimize the code needed for RDMA RPCs for SMR systems in Java, and was used to implement RDMA RPCs in Hazelcast. The thesis was conducted during a Master's Degree in Computer Science, which is a joint degree between Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and University Of Amsterdam.
