De acuerdo con la revisión sistemática planteada está basada en la investigación de artículos referenciados de una base de datos para la extracción y compilación de información relacionada con el tema expuesto: Evaluación y diagnóstico del sistema de abastecimiento de agua potable en municipios para obtener respuestas a los impactos sociales y ambientales que se generan en la construcción de un sistema de abastecimiento de agua potable junto con una solución para la reducción de las enfermedades por el consumo de agua, ya sea tratada o su distribución no se dé adecuadamente.
