Diseñando un gimnasio moral en entornos virtuales: las posibilidades y condiciones didácticas del videojuego como herramienta para la enseñanza de la filosofía moral

Abstract

En este trabajo se abordarán las posibilidades y condiciones didácticas del videojuego como herramienta para la enseñanza de la filosofía moral, entendiéndose así como un gimnasio moral, donde el alumno puede tanto desarrollar competencias morales como asimilar contenidos en un entorno simulado y controlado que cuenta además con todas las ventajas del formato audiovisual. Para ello, en primer lugar, hablaré sobre las posibilidades y ventajas educativas del videojuego, abordando del mismo modo las limitaciones que podemos llegar a encontrarnos. Acto seguido, entraré de lleno en la cuestión filosófica en torno al videojuego que, siguiendo la teoría de Miguel Sicart [2009], será definido como un sistema ético-informativo, y desarrollaré conceptos como el de jugador entendido como sujeto ético y el de gameplay ético, ambos fundamentales para entender la dimensión moral del videojuego. Finalmente expondré una serie de ejemplos y sus posibles aplicaciones en el aula.
