The article examines the losses of the Caucasian troops of the Russian army during the Russian-Turkish and Russian-Persian wars in the 19th century. The attention is paid to the chronology of events, the active periods of hostilities, as well as to the identification of the average daily losses of the Russian army in the Caucasian theater of operations.
