This folio of MS RSPA 87 has four seals. At the top (seals A and B) are two copies of the same seal with the legend, Abd al-aqq murd-i pdshh-i lamgr sanah 36 (1692-93 CE) which translates to "Abd al-aqq, disciple of the Emperor lamgr in the regnal year 36," meaning that this Abd al-aqq owned this manuscript no earlier than 1692. In the accompanying ownership statement, Abd al-aqq is noted to be the son of Abd al-Wahhb, a deceased judge. Seal C is a Qur'anic seal quoting verse 45 of surah 19 (Srat Maryam). The last seal (D) on this page is that of fi Masd Khn dated 1153 AH (1740-41 CE). Alongside this seal, there is a note that states he bought the manuscript in 1162 AH (1748-49 CE). At the bottom is a final acquisition note from a man named Sayyid Muammad Anwar ibn Sayyid Muammad Ghawth, who apparently acquired the manuscript in Jumda al-Awwal in the year 1196 AH (April-May 1782 CE). This was a year and a half years before the manuscript was acquired by William Jones.
