La enseñanza de la filosofía en el escenario post COVID-19

Abstract

El presente artículo tiene por objetivo presentar una valoración crítica acerca de la importancia de la enseñanza de la filosofía en el escenario post COVID-19. Para lograr tal fin, el trabajo se sustenta en tres aspectos fundamentales: el primero, señala los elementos medulares de la enseñanza de la filosofía, los cuales, según Gómez (2008), tiene una serie de métodos y criterios particulares, vitales para generar una actitud crítica en estudiantes y docentes. En segundo lugar, se presenta la necesidad de adecuar los esfuerzos de la enseñanza de la filosofía a las metas propuestas por la ONU (2020) y la UNICEF (2020), las cuales incluyen un desarrollo social más justo y más humano. Seguidamente, se acentúa la importancia de la filosofía como medio para garantizar el libre pensamiento y el desarrollo de la cultura de respeto y tolerancia, ante los avances de la nueva sociedad global (Romuroso et all., 2021). El método utilizado es el hermenéutico-documental. Se concluye en la importancia que tiene la enseñanza de la filosofía para garantizar la formación en valores como la justicia, el respeto, la tolerancia y dar continuidad a una vida digna, tras la pandemia COVID-19.
