In dieser Arbeit wurden Daten aus gemeinsamen, zeitgleichen Beobachtungen der bei- den akkretierenden Röntgenpulsare VelaX-1 und A0535+26 durch die Instrumente HEXE und TTM an Bord der Raumstation Mir ausgewertet. Die Kombination der gemeinsamen Beobachtungen erlaubte zum ersten Mal die Analyse von Lichtkurven, Pulsprofilen und Spektren dieser Quellen im breiten Energieband von 2–200 keV. Obwohl die Systemparameter und Akkretionsmechanismen der beiden Quellen recht verschieden sind, weisen sie im Röntgenbereich einige Ähnlichkeiten auf. So zeigen die Lichtkurven beider Quellen starke Puls-zu-Puls Variationen. Erst bei der Überlagerung hinreichend vieler Pulse (\(\geq\) 10) ergeben sich die recht stabilen mittleren Pulsprofile. Das Spektrum einzelner Pulse kann deutlich vom mittleren Spektrum abweichen, es ergaben sich aber keine Hinweise auf systematische Zusammenhänge mit anderen Größen, wie z.B. dem Gesamtfluß. Die Kontinuumsspektren der beiden Röntgenpulsare werden am besten durch das “Potenzgesetz mit exponentiellem Abfall” beschrieben. “Physikalische” Spektren, die auf stark vereinfachten Modellen beruhen, wie z.B. comptonisierte Spektren, beschreiben das erstmals aus zeitgleichen Beobachtungen bestimmte Breitbandkontinuum systematisch schlechter. In beiden Quellen hängt die Form der Kontinuumsspektren von der Pulsphase ab, allerdings in unterschiedlicher Ausprägung: Für Vela X-1 ergibt sich eine signifikante Variation unterhalb des spektralen Knicks bei ∼20 keV, für A 0535+26 dagegen oberhalb. In den Spektren beider Quellen gibt es deutliche Hinweise auf Zyklotronresonanzlinien, wobei die Stärke und Signifikanz der Strukturen mit der Pulsphase variiert. A 0535+26 zeigt statistisch sehr signifikante Strukturen bei ∼50 und ∼100 keV. Die statistisch etwas weniger signifikanten Strukturen bei ∼23 und ∼45 keV in den Vela X-1 Spektren stimmen gut überein mit Ergebnissen der Ginga -Beobachtungen dieser Quelle (Mihara 1995). Die Beobachtungsstatistik der vorliegenden Daten erlaubte wegen der komplexen Zusammenhänge zwischen den verschiedenen Parametern der untersuchten Modellspektren keine gesicherten Aussagen über die Variation der Linienparameter mit der Pulsphase. Tendenziell sprechen die Ergebnisse für stärker ausgeprägte Linienstrukturen in den Pulsen und zumindest im Falle von A 0535+26 für eine pencil beam Emissionsgeometrie.
