Alta resiliencia del profesor universitario: Equilibrio dinámico de los factores que la conforman

Abstract

Introducción. La resiliencia es entendida desde una perspectiva triádica, como la creación de nuevas estrategias a partir de la necesidad de resistir en una interacción de características personales, con un ambiente familiar estable, así como con un contexto que apoye. Objetivo. Analizar de qué manera los aspectos personales, sociales, profesionales y de la labor docente, así como institucionales, fungen como factores protectores o de riesgo al conformar la alta resiliencia del profesor universitario. Metodología. Los participantes en esta etapa del estudio de corte cualitativo y que forma parte de un trabajo doctoral con enfoque mixto, fueron ocho profesores de ingeniería y psicología de IES públicas y privadas. Resultados. Los resultados demuestran la importancia de aspectos profesionales y de la labor docente en la conformación de la alta resiliencia, ya que fungen como factores protectores y de riesgo, tanto internos como externos que permiten mantener la resiliencia. Le siguen en importancia los aspectos personales que fungen como protectores y de riesgo, como el compaginar la docencia con la maternidad de hijos pequeños. En tercer lugar, se identifican los aspectos institucionales que son percibidos casi en igual medida como protectores y de riesgo. Por último, los aspectos sociales son más percibidos por los docentes de ingeniería y los de tiempo completo. Conclusiones. Se corrobora la dinámica y bidireccionalidad de estos aspectos que según las experiencias de los docentes son percibidos como factores protectores que mitigan los muchos riesgos en forma de retos que la docencia actual les presenta
