The purpose of the study is to analyze the available publications and introduce into scientific circulation the newly discovered document in the Central State Historical Archive of Ukraine, Kyiv, which concerning brick factories in the hetman's capital Baturyn during the time of Kуryllо Razumovsky. There were considered and analyzed issues related to the arrangement of the Baturyn brick complex, as of 1765, which provides information on commercial, residential, industrial and warehouse facilities and a list of working equipment. The submitted and analyzed materials allow to learn more about the functioning of the Baturyn brick complex as of 1765, in addition, the materials provide more information about the construction of Baturyn in the middle of the eighteenth century. The scientific novelty lies in the first comprehensive analysis of publications and the introduction into scientific circulation some new archival materials from the fund № 51 of the Central State Historical Archive of Ukraine, Kyiv. The topic of Baturyn's industrial enterprises is quite relevant in the complex of research of Baturyn's construction and economic development of the city as of the middle of the XVIII century. During the preparation of the publication the author used general scientific methods of historical research. Conclusions: Despite of the available scientific research, today there are many unresolved issues regarding Baturyn's industrial enterprises, including brick factories. The statement presented in the article gives us an understanding that the brick complex occupied a large area, where located a number of residential, commercial, warehouse and industrial buildings. The information in the article proves that as Baturyn brick complex was a powerful enterprise of the middle of the eighteenth century. Finally, we understand that the issues outlined in the article only shed light on many unresolved issues related to the activities of the brick complex. Further study of the raised topic will provide an opportunity to study the economic development of Baturyn in the middle of the eighteenth century.
