All 11 data sets are of the same aerogel sample, imaged prior to compression, and following compressive strain applied in 5% increments. The title of each file represents the amount of strain applied to the sample during imaging (00percent is 0% strain, this is the aerogel in the uncompressed state; 05percent is 5% strain applied to the aerogel; etc.). The data is in 3D RAW format (.raw). each .raw file has a corresponding .txt file of the same name which contains details of how to open the file. This data can be opened in Fiji (open source software) by using import>raw, selecting the file, then using the information in the corresponding .txt file to populate the fields. This data is accompanied by the publication entitled "Tailoring lamellar MXene aerogel microstructure by compressive straining" by Rawson et al. The data was obtained at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility using ID15 beamline. Accompanying data: http://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.4761663 http://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.4764282
