Abstract

Apalonia (Alopania) dimidiaticornis spec. nov. (Figg. 25, 106–108) Materiale tipico: Holotypus , Guyane Fr., Caussade, 6.XI.2011, leg. T. Struyve (IRSNB). Paratypi: 1  e 2 , stessa provenienza; 4 es., Guyane Fr., Coralie, 15.XI.2011, leg. T. Struyve; 1 , Guyane Fr., Barrage Petit Saut, 10.XI.2011, leg. T. Struyve (SDEI, IRSNB). Descrizione: Lunghezza 3,1 mm. Corpo lucido e rossiccio; antenne giallo-rossicce con gli antennomeri dal terzo al quinto rossicci, dal settimo all'undicesimo giallo pallido; zampe giallo-rossicce. Occhi, in visione dorsale, lunghi quanto la regione postoculare. Secondo antennomero più breve del primo, terzo più lungo del secondo, dal quarto al settimo più lunghi che larghi, dall'ottavo al decimo lunghi quanto larghi. Reticolazione del capo superficiale, quella del resto del corpo non visibile. Granulosità di capo e pronoto quasi invisibile. Punteggiatura delle elitre finissima, fitta e poco evidente, quella dell'addome visibile solo al margine posteriore di ciascun urotergo libero. Edeago come in Figg. 106–107, spermateca come in Fig. 108. Etimologia: Il nome della nuova specie significa "Antenne dimezzate" per via del colore metà rossiccio e metà giallo pallido.
