These datasets and code are used to produce the figures for the paper, 'Trends in the representation of women among US 2 geoscience faculty from 1999-2020: the long road 3 towards gender parity'. This data is the makeup of faculty as of September 7, 2020 at these Universities. This data includes the gender (based on pronouns), subdiscipline, and position of all tenure track faculty in earth science relevant departments. It is taken from the websites of 62 universities, and we have removed identifying information such as names and institutions so that individual privacy is maintained. Code is also maintained at: https://github.com/lfreese/women_geosci discipline_data.csv is the faculty data aggregated by subdiscipline grad_postdoc_data.csv is postdoc and graduate student data (from https://www.nsf.gov/statistics/srvygradpostdoc/) grad_time_data.csv is graduate data over time (from https://www.nsf.gov/statistics/srvydoctorates/)
