Open Science Skills Visualisation - Visualisation des compétences en science ouverte

Abstract

The array of knowledge, skills and competencies needed to practice Open Science (OS) effectively can be daunting for many librarians and researchers, particularly those who are new to OS concepts and practices. Identifying which skills are needed is the first step for anyone wishing to upskill themselves or others in OS. In 2019, our Digital Skills for Library Staff and Researchers Working Group embarked on a project to define the skills needed for OS, and to align them with LIBER's 2018-2022 Strategy. After several months of work we now have this Open Science Skills visualisation, which identifies the skills and knowledge needed to practice OS effectively. The visualisation is available in the English, French and Greek languages. The French translation was provided by Cécile Swiatek, Marlene Delhaye and Christophe Pion. The Greek translation was provided by Argyro Frantzi and Vasiliki Strakantouna. To learn more about how the visualisation was created, please see the LIBER website. *** La pratique effective de la science ouverte (SO) engage un éventail de connaissances, d’aptitudes et de compétences si large qu’il peut déconcerter les bibliothécaires et les chercheurs, en particulier lorsqu’ils sont novices en matière de concepts et de pratiques de la science ouverte. Identifier les compétences nécessaires est la première étape à suivre pour qui souhaite mettre en place un programme individuel ou collectif de perfectionnement dans le domaine de la science ouverte. En 2019, le groupe de travail de LIBER « Digital skills for library staff and researchers » s'est lancé dans un projet visant à définir les compétences numériques nécessaires au personnel des bibliothèques et aux chercheurs engagés dans la science ouverte en les alignant sur la stratégie 2018-2022 de LIBER. Cette visualisation des compétences en science ouverte, obtenue après plusieurs mois de travail, identifie les compétences et les connaissances nécessaires pour pratiquer efficacement la science ouverte. La visualisation est disponible en anglais et en français. La traduction française a été assurée par Cécile Swiatek, Marlene Delhaye et Christophe Pion. La traduction grecque a été assurée par Iro Frantzi et Vasiliki Strakantouna. Pour en savoir plus sur la manière dont la visualisation a été créée, veuillez consulter le site web de LIBER (page en anglais). *** Το φάσμα των γνώσεων, δεξιοτήτων και ικανοτήτων που απαιτούνται για την αποτελεσματική υλοποίηση της Ανοικτής Επιστήμης (ΑΕ) μπορεί να τρομάζει πολλούς βιβλιοθηκονόμους και ερευνητές, ιδιαίτερα εκείνους που δεν είναι εξοικειωμένοι με τις έννοιες και τις πρακτικές της ΑΕ. Πρώτο βήμα για όποιον επιθυμεί να εκπαιδευτεί ή να εκπαιδεύσει άλλους στον τομέα αυτό είναι να προσδιορίσει τις απαραίτητες δεξιότητες ΑΕ. Το 2019, η Ομάδα Εργασίας Ψηφιακών Δεξιοτήτων Προσωπικού Βιβλιοθηκών και Ερευνητών ξεκίνησε ένα έργο για τον καθορισμό των απαιτούμενων δεξιοτήτων ΑΕ και την ευθυγράμμισή τους με τη στρατηγική LIBER 2018-2022. Μετά από αρκετούς μήνες εργασίας δημιουργήθηκε αυτή η απεικόνιση των εν λόγω δεξιοτήτων, η οποία προσδιορίζει τις δεξιότητες και τις γνώσεις που απαιτούνται για την επαρκή πρακτική εφαρμογή της ΑΕ. Η απεικόνιση αυτή είναι διαθέσιμη στα αγγλικά, γαλλικά και ελληνικά. Η γαλλική μετάφραση έγινε από τη Cécile Swiatek, τη Marlene Delhaye και τον Christophe Pion.
