We used drones to photograph the outcrops at Getaberget, Åland Islands, Finland from a flight altitude of 20 m. We processed the photographs into the orthomosaics using Agisoft Photoscan software. We used 5 to 10 ground control points to accurately georeference the orthomosaics. The resulting orthomosaics have a ground sampling distance of 0.55 cm / pixel. Coordinate system ETRS:3067, ETRS-TM35FIN. Filetype is GeoTIFF. The orthomosaics were used as base maps onto which fracture traces visible on the outcrop surfaces were digitized. Digitized traces are found here: doi.org/10.34740/kaggle/dsv/2101134 The field mapping and photos were taken as part of a Geological Survey of Finland project, KYT KARIKKO, with funding from Finnish National Nuclear Waste Management Fund (KYT) during the summer of 2020.
