Pineda & Matsumoto, 2020”. Paratype here recognized. Current status: Synonym of Conognatha (Pithiscus) chalybeiventris (Fairmaire & Germain, 1858) (Moore & Lander, 2010; Moore & Vidal, 2015). Comments: The specimen selected as holotype was illustrated as the “type” (singular) in its original description and it is the only syntype labelled as “typus”.
