B.M.1927-63. // NHMUK 014380356 // Conognatha nanula Hoscheck, 1934 HOLOTYPE det. Pineda & Matsumoto, 2020”. Holotype here recognized. Paratype: “SYN-TYPE // 10 // Chile: Concepcion. 26-28.xii.1926. F. & M.Edwards. B.M.1927-63. // near errata Frm // Conognatha nanulam. Det. Hoscheck. 1933. // NHMUK 014380354 // Conognatha nanula Hoscheck, 1934 PARATYPE det. Pineda & Matsumoto, 2020”. Paratype here recognized. Paratype: “SYN-TYPE // Chile:Concepcion. 26-28.xii.1926. F.& M.Edwards. B.M.1927-63.// NHMUK 014380355 // Conognatha nanula Hoscheck, 1934 PARATYPE det. Pineda & Matsumoto, 2020”. Paratype here recognized. Current status: Synonym of Conognatha (Pithiscus) chalybeiventris (Fairmaire & Germain, 1858) (Moore & Lander, 2010; Moore & Vidal, 2015). Comments: The specimen selected as holotype was illustrated as the “type” (singular) in its original description and it is the only syntype labelled as “typus”.
