ANURAN VERTEBRA A well-preserved, procoelous, anuran vertebra, AMNH 8424, has a dorsoventrally compressed centrum (fig. 11O, P). The neural arch is incomplete and tapers dorsally, and the transverse processes are short and robust. The length of the vertebra, the only one of its kind in the collection, is 1.6 mm.
