Abstract

Myolepta (Myolepta) nausicaa (Hull, 1937) Figs 8–9 Nausigaster nausicaa (Hull, 1937: 172) Type locality and data. “ Montevideo, Uruguay ” (T, ♀, USNM). Material examined. Metropolitana: 1♀, Quilicura, 30.XII.1954, Leg. L. Peña (CNC); (sex undeterminated) Tobalaba, II.1955, Leg. L. Peña (CNC). References. Hull, 1937: 172 (desc.); Thompson 1974a: 328 (Myolepta review); Thompson et al., 1976: 46 (cat.). World distribution. Argentina, Uruguay and Chile. Chilean distribution. Only recorded from Metropolitan region (Fig. 10). Altitudinal range. This species has mainly been recorded in Mediterranean valleys (485– 567 m.a.s.l.). Biology and notes. All basic aspects of its biology and ecology remain unknown in Chile. Conservation status. DD; AOO = 4 km 2 and two localities (or subpopulations). Genus Orthonevra Macquart, 1829 Orthonevra Macquart, 1829: 188 (40). Type-species, Chrysogaster elegans Meigen (mon.). Refs.
