Onthophagus lemur

Abstract

Onthophagus lemur (Fabricius, 1781) (Fig. 23D) ABDOMEN. — À s ympleurite VIII non mobile. TERMINALIA. — Segment IX totalement régre ssé. VOIES GÉNITALES. — Chambre anogén itale peu profonde. Orifice génital non sclérifié. Vagin membraneux, tubuliforme, allongé et étroit. Présence d’un lobe dorsal assez court et large, sacculiforme, avec à la face ventrale un arceau sclérifié assez grand. Oviducte tubuliforme et court. Réceptacle s éminal s clérifié, en forme de C, l’extrémité largement arrondie. Insertion par un canal assez long (deux fois et demie la longueur du réceptacle) et étroit sur le vagin. Moitié basale du canal sclérifiée s e prolongeant sur la face dorsale du vagin par un sclérite ligulaire de petite taille. Glande de la spermathèque membraneuse, courte (trois à quatre fois moins longue que le réceptacle), s acculiforme, insérée s ur le réceptacle au niveau du tiers basal. Poches accessoires postérieures formant des replis membraneux assez courts.
