Abstract

Maladera seriatoguttata Ahrens & Fabrizi, 2016 Material examined. 2 males: “ Karnataka, Shimoga, Hosanagara, 585m, 13°92’ N, 75°06’ E, 21.v.2019, leg. R. Naveen ” (NBAIR), 4 males: “ India: Kerala, Thrissur, Peechi, 133 m, 10° 32‘ N, 76° 20‘ E, 28.v.2019, leg. K. Sreedevi and Judith Correya” (NBAIR). Remark. This is a new record from Thissur, central Kerala. The species was earlier reported to occur in Karnataka and northern Kerala (Ahrens & Fabrizi 2016).
