Parasitation of terrestrial gastropods by larval stages of Digenea belonging to the family Brachylaimidae Joyeux et Foley, 1930 in the Llobregat delta (Barcelona) has been studied. A total of 1608 specimens from Helicidae and Subulinidae families have been collected and analysed. Pseudotachea splendida (Draparnaud, 1801) acts as cercariashedding first intermediate host while Otala punctata (Müller, 1774) (prevalence 12,5%), Theba pisana (Müller, 1774) (4,5%), P. splendida (12,2%) and Helix (C.) aspersa (Müller, 1774) (7,7%) are involved as second intermediate hosts, harbouring metacercariae in the kidney.
