Variación del rezago social en la Sierra Sur de Oaxaca

Abstract

El distrito 26 Miahuatlán (en adelante el distrito Miahuatlán) del estado de Oaxaca está conformado por 32 municipios ubicados en la Sierra Sur que presentan un alto grado de rezago social por sus condiciones de vivienda, prestación de servicios públicos, nivel de salud y nivel de educación. El Índice de Rezago Social (IRS) a nivel municipal y nivel localidad del Consejo Nacional de Evaluación de la Política de Desarrollo Social (CONEVAL) se construye con información del Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (INEGI) sobre cuatro dimensiones de carencias sociales: educación, salud, servicios básicos y espacios en la vivienda. Los datos para el año 2000 se construyeron con la información del XII Censo General de Población y Vivienda, en el año 2005 con información del II Conteo de Población y Vivienda, en el año 2010 con información del Censo de Población y Vivienda, y en el año 2015 con información de la Encuesta Intercensal.
