Argentina: Buenos Aires (Pennington 1922, Packauskas 2010); Brazil and Mexico (Blöte 1936, Jahnke et al. 2011). Material examined. 1♂, Iguazú, PNI0454 (MLP). Remarks. First record for Misiones province. This species can be easily distinguished by the distiflagellomere longer than the scape, and the apical angles of the abdominal segments strongly projected (Pennington 1922).
