This data was created as a consequence of two questionnaires sent out to researchers in the UK, the first in 2016 and the second in 2019. The questionnaires were created as part of the efforts of the Image Analysis Focused Interest Group of the Royal Microscopical Society (IAFIG-RMS). The questionnaires were distributed through mailing lists specific to microscopy and image analysis with a core UK readership. This repository contains the anonymised data from the two questionnaires. The initial questionnaire related to the theme: Do you use or develop bioimage analysis for life sciences research? Whereas the second questionnaire focused on the subject of bioimage analysis funding sources. The analysis scripts are also included allowing anyone with Python expertise to reanalyse the data.
