19. Haemaphysalis bremneri Roberts, 1963a. An Australasian species, all of whose parasitic stages, including the undescribed nymph, have been found on Diprotodontia: Phalangeridae; adults alone have been collected from Artiodactyla: Bovidae, Perissodactyla: Equidae, and Caprimulgiformes: Aegothelidae. There are no records of Haemaphysalis bremneri causing human parasitism.
