Abstract

246. Ixodes ventalloi Gill Collado, 1936. A Palearctic species, all of whose parasitic stages have been found on Lagomorpha: Leporidae, Carnivora: Canidae and Mustelidae, and Rodentia: Gliridae and Muridae; adults and nymphs have been collected from Carnivora: Felidae, Erinaceomorpha: Erinaceidae, Rodentia: Sciuridae, Passeriformes: Turdidae, and Strigiformes: Strigidae and Tytonidae; adults alone have been recovered from Carnivora: Herpestidae and Viverridae, Galliformes: Phasianidae, Gruiformes: Rallidae, and Passeriformes: Corvidae; immature stages have been found on Soricomorpha: Soricidae, and Squamata: Agamidae, Lacertidae and Scincidae; unknown stages have been collected from Rodentia: Hystricidae (Mori et al. 2015, Guglielmone & Robbins 2018, Cull et al. 2018, Santos & Santos-Silva 2018).
