Núcleo Museológico da Fotografia do Douro Superior. O milagre da prata

Abstract

Neste artigo apresenta-se uma síntese do espólio fotográfico que integra o Núcleo Museológico da Fotografia do Douro Superior em Torre de Moncorvo, um projecto individual que salvou 117 mil registos fotográficos da sua inevitável destruição. Neste artigo, são apresentados cinco fotógrafos de excelência que fazem parte deste vasto e rico espólio. São eles Joaquim Rodrigues dos Santos Júnior (1901-1990), José dos Santos Peixe (1917-2002), José Manuel Carva (1931- 1991), Horácio Brilhante Simões (1910- 2011) e Francisco Manuel de Castro (1886-1963).
