Impacto psicológico del confinamiento por COVID-19 hacia un nuevo constructo clinimétrico ansioso-depresivo en mujeres adultas de Azogues

Abstract

El objetivo principal fue establecer psicométricamente la naturaleza del constructo subyacente a los síntomas de ansiedad y depresión asociados al aislamiento por COVID-19 en mujeres adultas de Azogues. Se efectuó un estudio cuantitativo no experimental, prospectivo y descriptivo-correlacional con un diseño transversal correlacional, comparativo y predictivo. Se realizó un muestreo aleatorio simple. La muestra estuvo constituida por 381 mujeres adultas (18 a 65 años) de la ciudad de Azogues, Ecuador. Se administró una encuesta sociodemográfica, el inventario de Ansiedad Estado-rasgo (STAI) y el inventario de Depresión Estado-Rasgo (IDER). Se realizó un análisis descriptivo mediante (porcentajes, frecuencias, medidas de tendencia central), una prueba de normalidad mediante Shapiro Wilk (W), análisis de correlación (r Pearson), análisis de diferencia de medias (prueba t de Student para muestras independientes) y por último una regresión lineal múltiple. El primer modelo de predicción de la ansiedad y depresión fue estadísticamente significativo para la edad (f= 12.66; p= .0001). La ansiedad resultó no ser un predictor estadísticamente significativo de la edad (b= -0.04; p= .562). Mientras que la depresión resultó ser un predictor estadísticamente significativo inverso o negativo de la edad (b= -0.27; p = .002). y para el segundo modelo de predicción de la ansiedad y depresión fue estadísticamente significativo para los días de cuarentena (f= 4.61; p= .0001). La ansiedad resultó ser un predictor negativo de los días de cuarentena (b = -0.16; p= .002) y la depresión un predictor positivo de los días de cuarentena (b = 0.25; p= .001).
