Abstract

La presente investigación se propuso generar desarrollo local participativo en el municipio San Cristóbal de la provincia Artemisa, a partir de la implementación del Modelo de Televisión Local para el Desarrollo Territorial propuesto por la Dra. Dagmar Herrera Barreda (2015). A partir de un recorrido por los principales referentes teóricos-conceptuales y metodológicos, de las características de la televisión local en los nuevos escenarios de conexión digital y convergencia periodística y sobre la base de un diagnóstico local que determinó las potencialidades de la corresponsalía San Cristóbal TV para incidir en el desarrollo de la localidad, el estudio se realiza desde la perspectiva metodológica cualitativa. Como método fundamental se emplea la Investigación-Acción-Participación y, para recoger, ordenar datos e informaciones y obtener aprendizajes críticos del recorrido se acude a la investigación bibliográfica-documental, la entrevista, la encuesta, la observación participante, los grupos focales y la triangulación. Lo anterior desde los referentes conceptuales de la Educación Popular y la propuesta metodológica de Sistematización de Experiencias de Óscar Jara. El resultado contribuye a un diálogo interdisciplinar entre los espacios de conocimiento de la Comunicación para el Desarrollo y la Comunicación Audiovisual.
