6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase activity inhibition by (S)-3-Hydroxyisobutyric acid

Abstract

Here we present the relative activity from the 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase from Escherichia coli and Gluconobacter oxydans against (S)-3-Hydroxyisobutyric acid (3HIBA). The concentration of the 3HIBA was in mM.
