Family AMPHIMENIIDAE Salvini-Plawen, 1972 DIAGNOSIS. — Solenogastres with thick mantle cuticle, sclerites acicular as hollow spicules (needles). Radula monoserial (or lacking); anterio-ventral radula sack (when present) unpaired. Foregut glandular organs typically as ramified ducts with terminally arranged clusters of gland cells (= type D). Spawning ducts with subepithelially arranged, intercellularly opening glands.
