Report on creating a CDC Publisher Names Vocabulary and investigating Data Access Interoperability

Abstract

This report describes background work done towards the creation of two future search filters for the CESSDA Data Catalogue (CDC). Firstly, the report describes creation of a controlled vocabulary (CV) to cover CESSDA Service Provider/CDC Publisher names, enabling users to subset CDC search results by provider organisation. Secondly, the report includes assessment of data access conditions across several different Service Providers, to find common access criteria. This work is the first stage towards establishing a Data Access Interoperability CV, to create a filter enabling users to subset CDC search results by data access criteria.
